Disaster Care


This course will prepare students to handle medical emergencies in times of disaster when help is not coming. Students will learn how to approach situations during potentially dangerous environments. We will discuss adapting your assessment for these types of situations, rendering aid with limited supplies, and providing long term care. Topics covered in this course include:
